GPS camera apps on the App Store and Google Play have a combined 100+ million downloads — which tells you how much people need this feature. But almost every app buries it behind aggressive ads, confusing trials, or subscription plans costing up to $60/month.
GPS Cam Stamp was built to fix that. It does one thing extremely well: it stamps your photos with GPS coordinates, address, altitude and timestamp — instantly, in your browser, with no install, no account and no payment.
How It Works
Everything runs entirely in your browser using standard Web APIs:
- Geolocation API — reads GPS coordinates directly from your device
- MediaDevices API — accesses your camera for live capture
- HTML5 Canvas API — draws the stamp onto your photo
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim — converts coordinates to a readable street address (free, no API key)
Your photos are never uploaded to any server. The stamp is applied locally and the file is downloaded directly to your device.
